Established in 2011, UTP Press serves as the official publishing arm of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and operates under the Academic Division of the university. It functions with strategic oversight from the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) and is systematically monitored by the UTP Publication Committee to ensure the highest standards of academic publishing are upheld.

Since its inception, UTP Press has been steadfast in its commitment to becoming a leading national and international publisher in the specialized fields of Engineering and Technology, with a particular emphasis on the Oil and Gas sector.
