Synopsis: International Conference and Exhibition Loss Prevention Asia 2021 (LPA 2021) held on 22-23 Nov 2021. The conference was organised virtually by the Centre of Advanced Process Safety (CAPS), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and in collaboration with PETRONAS (Self-Regulation Task Force) and the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia. This year, the theme “The Sustainability of Loss Prevention through Self-Regulation” discusses the importance of understanding the “Self-Regulation” philosophy in the context of process safety and deliberate ways of the sustainability of loss prevention could be achieved through perceptive of process safety management. The process safety topics covered were self-regulation, human factors, safety culture, process safety management, data analytics & digitalisation, risk & integrity management, fire & explosion and other process safety area.
